Welcome to our Christian Women's Fellowship (CWF)

The Christian Women’s Fellowship (CWF) of VCC provides fellowship and service for the entire congregation as well as for the women involved in the Esther Circle Group.  The Esther group meets the second Thursday of the month from 9:30 - 11 AM in the CWF of the church.  Gathering, conversation and refreshments begin the meeting, there is official business briefly conducted including a service report and a “sunshine” report.  Offering is taken to support the ministry of the CWF both locally and internationally.  From 10:30 to 11:00 there is study led by the pastor.

The CWF also sponsors “Sewing Days” in which women gather from 9:30 until after lunch to tie quilts.  The tops are sew together by two of the members prior to the sewing day and then everyone adds their hands and hearts to tie the quilts which are sent home to be finished.  Approximately five quilts are tied on each of the sewing days and when completed they are given to various outreach ministries in the Colorado Springs area.  Lunch is provided and fun abounds.  All are welcome to come and join for however long they can!

The CWF also sponsors a fellowship dinner for the congregation in January to celebrate the birthdays of each season and they do an Alternative Christmas Card event in December to raise money for projects around the church.
