Pastor David Woods is a 1997 graduate of Lexington Theological Seminary where he earned his Master of Divinity degree.  Before answering a call from Village Christian Church he was serving as a hospice chaplain in Colorado Springs.  Rev. Woods has served as a church pastor, a hospital chaplain, and a maximum-security prison chaplain, all back in his home state of Ohio.  He is also credentialed as an addictions counselor here in Colorado.  David lives with his wife Darla, a registered nurse, in Divide, Colorado.  Their household duties in the mountains include the care and feeding of three dogs and five cats.
