Elizabeth:  I've always appreciated being a member of the Disciples of Christ.  It's all about welcoming people to the Table, agreeing to wrestle over the tough issues and still come together in faith.  Being a two-church family is challenging, but the Disciples way of bringing people of different backgrounds together really serves our family well... The ecumenism is important to us as we raise our children to respect our faith traditions and grow in understanding and Christian love.
