WHY I GO TO VILLAGE CHRISTIAN CHURCH

  LYLE AND ANN KNUDSEN 

Ann:  I came to Village Christian Church as a “commissioned” member and have been here ever since.  I have done every position except chairman and vice chairman and men’s leader.

Lyle:  I was first introduced to Disciples of Christ by Ann and her family before we married.  I agreed with the Disciple of Christ practices and theology.  I was baptized by a DOC Army Chaplain in Africa in 1944.  Then we got deeply involved in starting Village and have many roots there.  Many of the “old timers” in Village came from DOC families.  My family members were not church people.  I got there on my own and will probably be with Village as long as it and I survive.
