NANCY URBAN

I transferred my membership from First Christian Church, Colorado Springs as I felt maybe my presence and encouragement were needed for my daughter – the Pastor.  I was fairly acquainted with some of the people, having been involved with women’s groups and various joint projects between the churches and I liked to spread out and meet new people and to be of service wherever I could.  I’ve been here three years (was at FCC 50 plus years) and am fairly familiar with the Christian Church (DOC) on a regional and national level.  I also like the people!  They are the most giving and concerning people and they believe in the causes that the church supports.  And most of the time, I like the sermons.  I learn from them as they unveil little known facts and they speak God’s love.
