WHY I GO TO VILLAGE CHRISTIAN CHURCH

DON AND BEV SARTON

Don - I view myself as a progressive thinker, rooted in the tradition of my parents and grandparents.  I am looking for new and creative ways to share my faith and challenge the thinking and growth of others.  I came to Village Christian Church because of the friendly and accepting people.  Also, when Bev had her surgery we needed pastoral care and Marlene was there to pray and to share with us. It meant a great deal to us at that time in our lives. 

Bev - I found the people at Village Christian Church very warm friendly and welcoming.  They were interested in my well being, health and progress after my hip surgery.  I like a traditional worship service and found Pastor Marlene’s sermons to be challenging, inspiring and helpful for me during the week.  I appreciate thoughtful sermons that provide some depth for me to consider during the coming week.  The Sunday school class serves as my support group and it provides thought provoking discussions as well.  These discussions serve to encourage me to study the Bible.
